I think Vladar is not good at reaction saves. Just take a good position and become a big as possible. Not even moved during shoot outs.

Vladar had his first poor game...other than that one save

Flames gave up almost nothing

Really? he let in 2 bad goals of 3 and was terrible in the shootout
not the end of the world but it wasn't a great effort

He goes down early. If he can't get that under control NHL shooters will destroy him.

After the first ten mins I thought he was fine.

Kylington is just fun to watch

Thought Tkachuk, Duehr, Valimaki, Andersson, Lucic, Backlund, and Coleman were also good.

That’s where we’re going to miss Big Shootout Save Dave.

I guess, but you let in 2 bad goals and lose in a SO

Seattle barely had any shots after the first

True, but that first 10 minutes cost them a win

Kylington and Valimaki were both really good, which is very encouraging

I think some guys played Okay. Needs to pick up speed and timing. Duehr, Kylington played well.

Imagine if he got consistent playing opportunities and the pucks started going in for him.

They really need to just let OK get some traction.

He gives me a Reto Berra vibe. Not sure thats a good thing. Its early, so
No judgement but will hold off on a Vladar jersey, for now.

Yeah, he’s a back-up goalie - I thought he was totally fine this evening. Expecting him to be lights out every night is just unrealistic for a rookie back-up goalie.

Kylington and Duehr turned in very solid games that hopefully get recognized by the team.

So far, I don’t think there’s a single shred of evidence that says Gudbranson should be on the team ahead of Kylington or Stone. Kylington’s skating and puck moving ability are desperately needed.

Tkachuk had a good game despite this being the first game action he's seen. Maybe he's extra motivated to prove his doubters wrong

Vladar has shown much more good than bad thus far.

He was a little shaky to start, doesn't mean he's a write off.

I've seen far worse from Flames backups-to-be.

He sounded frustrated about their poor starts every year he's been here. I think he really wants to help change that narrative.

If Kylington doesn't make opening night roster he might as well ask for a trade.

Who is gonna trade for him? All the teams that didn't pick him up on waivers for free

Don't think anyone has wrote him off...he was a distant second in the goalie battle tonight though
