Because it's not even like being an Oilers fan. Oilers just suck. They lose. It's frustrating I'm sure. But Leafs is different.
With the Leafs it's always so epic.
Case in point this year: First 10 mins of Game 1 the captain is involved in a gruesome accident. Hes out for the series. No suspension for Kadri so this is a new one at least.
Leafs take a 3-1 series lead.
Down 3-0 in Game 5 but come back to tie it up to only lose the game less than 1 minute in on a stupid turnover.
Game 6 come back from being down two to force OT. Lose your shutdown defenseman (again) to a freak play where he just pulls his own groin. Dominate OT but then have number 7 defenseman who is maybe not out there if Muzzin isn't hurt just lose the puck while turning. And lose.
Team is cursed! I'm not sure I want to watch Game 7 because I can't think of how the gods will outdo themselves this time. But I'm sure it will be a good one!

Leafs and oilers losing first round in humiliating fashion. Someone did monkey paw our season up didn't they.
