I mean it doesnt matter really. Flames keep on collecting points even when players are being short shifted or rested. So whats the concern at this point in time.

Exactly. I’d rather rest Monahan and Neal the entire series against Arizona than play Vegas healthy.

Home ice is very important in the playoffs. An advantage the Flames have not had since the late 1800s.

And I don't honestly think the Flames are too too worried about home ice. I think Peters has this teams honed in on showing up and playing right every single night. all the external things like home ice are totally in their blinders. Or at the very least, the least of the worries.
