Smith has been alright. This is the way it should be with Smith getting his starts on the road not at home.

with lots of rest between starts.

At his age, he simply is not capable of carrying the main load.

Looked like Johnny was favoring his hand on the way to the bench there. Guy needs thicker and longer gloves. They're gonna attack your hands for the rest of your career.

And that’s fine... give him 25 or 30 starts and let BSD carry the rest.

I imagine it has been suggested to him but maybe he can't feel the stick and feels it limits his ability to puck handle? I don't know.

I agree. He's been bad at home since joining the team.

Did Johnny not talk about that after the Minny lumber jack show? He said he tried longer gloves and couldn't make it work.

Easy to say today because hes scored twice, but Hanifin clearly seems to be settling in and finding his game. Could be an elite player on the way.

Just tuning in (damn these early starts) is the score a reflection of the Flames playing great or the Coyotes being the Coyotes?

That was a much more entertaining period than the first, and exactly the same result. I like it.

Bit of both. Flames have scored for the cycle. Yotes aren't playing the Flames tight at all. Giving them lots of room to operate and set up. 3 goals were beauts and one was a bad one. Hanifin with 2 today though. So thats a good thing.

Imagine if both Ferland and Fox walk away from CAR. Glad we don't have that worry. I'll take Hanifin and Lindholm on long term reasonable deals.

So fun fact. Dougie has 3g,5a and a -5 good for 8 points. Noah, has 2g, 9a and a + 2 good for 11 points.

Not sayin, just sayin.

And I'm sure it's been asked but why are the Coyotes wearing white?
