Yeah it’s almost impressive (or exact opposite) how a person can create that much pessimism over a series of hypothetical events with no inside knowledge.
Man do I ever hope Hamonic finds his place with this team and is given the opportunity to play with someone he finds chemistry with instead of being forced to build something from nothing. He’ll show why we made that trade and how vital a player like him is to our D-corp.

With Isles landing talented dman Noah Dobson with Hamonic trade 1st,
kind of reminds me of 2010 scenario when #Flames had traded 1st rnder to get Olli Jokinen. Highly touted Dman Brandon Gormley fell to Coyotes (projected to go higher), making us Flames fans queasy.
(Career stats: 58 NHL GP - 5pts)

Lol I get being a fan but some of you are just delusional.
Whether Dobson works out or not, why is it so hard to admit the flames got fleeced on the trade.
#12 overall in a good draft + 2 2nd rounders for a #4 defensive dman who's defense has been subpar 3 years straight is a bad trade. PERIOD.
