Holy bush league officiating to end the period. I was expecting another bogus instigator penalty to even it up but they topped it by calling it interference instead.

flames have been stringing some really impressive periods together. all the fire and passion is great but the most important thing right now is the 2 points and they have to make sure not to let it get out of control like it did in the playoffs. goon it up if the game's out of hand. still 20 left to play here

Flames have two opponents to defeat tonight it seems.
On their heels a bit in the 2nd, but they've looked like a team that cares. It's been a really good game overall.

The way this game is being reffed is playing right into the Ducks' hands. Flames are still playing great, but you can tell they're getting frustrated with the lack of calls on the Ducks. Flames just need to stay focused and keep their foot on the gas. Try not to get sucked into taking any retaliation penalties, cause the refs are obviously looking for any excuse to call something on the Flames since the Ducks are still trailing by 2.
