Isn't this the version of Brodie that made him a late round pick? There's the other Brodie that's all world skilled and genius level hockey sense and then there's this end of the pendulum where overthinking kills him..

While definitely true, I think that sort of thinking applies to every team if you take their #1 goalie and 2 best players out.
Tampa without Vasilevsky, Stamkos, and Kucherov would be rough for example.
