Yeah the Ducks need to win the next game to change the tide of the series. Another average game from Talbot will be all that it takes as when he's in god mode they are tough to beat especially when they are getting the bounces they have been in this series.

My drive into work is 15 minutes and I somehow endured that anthem singing twice. Amazed I didn't crash or get a distracted driving ticket for throwing up at the wheel.

The mic cut out and the fans finished the song. Pretty cool actually.

Oilers fans will fit right in when Trump confuses us with North Korea and invades.

Yeah, I was at a firm function with my Edmonton folks in the last round and it was hard to bring the hate, even when they wanted to watch the games on TV during the social stuff. They were just happy and never rubbed in the Calgary business (some even admitted the season series was non-representative). But I tried my best.

They're not your typical fans. They are professional fans paid to come to the games and cheer for the Oilers. They bring them in from all over North America. The actual Oilers fans really aren't too bright. They pay for the seats for the professional fans to use.

Fake news.

"Is this thing working"

Uh yeah, we can clearly hear that on the microphone so yes it is working. So sad that they have to make up a story like this for more validation.

Sad.

Mic seemed to be working fine to me. Everytime the singer said something I could hear it.

Big whoop,

Flames fans always help sing the American anthem, especially the part with "see" and "red"

Is there a different TV mic feed than what's heard in the building? Meaning is it possible we could hear him on TV but they couldn't in the building? I mean, I know CP would love to discredit this story but logically, I'm fairly comfortable this happened as portrayed.

It really is pathetic.

"Oh say can you....*puts Mic up to the crowd" see"

All while the mic is working perfectly fine and you can hear him perfectly.

Sad.
Actually in the stadium there was nothing. The TV feed part was working, but nothing in the actual arena. So sad that you just have to try and find any little reason to put them down.

Sad

You are the pathetic one here.

The PA in the building wasn't working, not the TV mic.

Yes.

They would have had an audio routing issue here. The feed out to the TV was being routed, but the feed out to the in-arena audio system was not.

You're pathetic. You just read a post suggesting this and took it as gospel. This is BS from Oiler fans who badly want validation. Mic was working fine.
