I would say greater than a 2nd round pick in *this* upcoming draft.

Certainly not enough to kick up the type of hissy fit you're having over it.

the odds are higher than an average 2nd rounder...and that you can't debate

odds are numbers not opinion

Lazar is an extremely well-spoken guy. I'm impressed.

again, i voted I like it, mainly because of the weakness in this year's draft... but also because Lazar is only 21/22... there's definitely a chance he has some upside left

This kid isn't only going to help save his career I strongly believe him and Bennet are going to have a great relationship.

Just saw his interview and loved it! Great mind set, and hopefully the new scene can help him find a new level.
Low risk move, and excited for the potential upside.

Seems like he has been mishandled and has had a bit of bad luck. I think the organizational change will allow him to hit that reset and start fresh.

Can someone call Mark Jankowski and tell him he'll need to hand over his "Most Polarizing Player" CP award? Thanks.

Did they ask him if he was going to put the hammer down as far as the rest of the season is concerned?

Dorion seems like a stand up guy. He says if Curtis goes to Calgary and pans out the way he can, then great for him and great for the Flames. That's a pretty nice thing to say.

2nd rounders develop into solid players all of the time. Probably more often than reclamation projects turning out actually.

Funny how now that the Flames traded their 2nd, it has little value but when the speculation was happening before the deadline no one wanted to part with it for anything.
That's not true.

Dorian press conference right now. Pretty clear they did this as a favour to Lazar. They sent him where they felt he would be most successful. Dorian seems to be a stand up kind of guy.

6% in the poll either hate it or don't like it

94% are neutral or better...and that includes trolls

I may be wrong but Lazar is a lot more solid than Versteeg... 6' 210 lbs is pretty solid and if he has speed that's really good

Who gives a crap who likes it and who doesn't? Why is this turning into a discussion about which posters like it or don't?

Don't think the mods add a poll so we can discuss which poster likes it and which poster doesn't.
