I wouldn't say his first pass was perfect, almost a bad turnover but he powered through to make it work.

I think it's on the rush that Brodie really makes the difference offensively, but it's easy to see how when he knows Wideman is the man back... probably not worth taking many risks.

Crap. That whole play comes because they couldn't clear with full possession.

I hope this game goes to OT because it's not a stupid late start.

Ferland should be credited with an assist on Stajan's goal as well. Don't know why not.

Edit: nevermind, NHL.com just added it.

Hrudey is quite off tonight: "I'm not sure why Zajac would go after him"

Cut to Zajac clearly bleeding from the mouth... I'm guessing that's why.

That's ok. Hrudey's general upbeat positivity makes up for it.

I'd like to point to the Devil's offensive push in our zone before the goal as to why you shouldn't be making poor challenges. The Devil's player was about a foot offside on the rush that lead to sustained pressure.

If the Devils had scored we've got nothing, it's a goal. I honestly don't understand GG's challenges, did they tell him that he only gets one if it fails?

And he's creating a ton of rebounds. No one has been there to cash in.

Believe that's from the puck in the face in the first period. Looked nasty. Couple missing teeth?

I hear what you're saying, but getting a goal called back is huge, it can win you a game, I think the coach should be using it every time he thinks there's a chance of success.

Most games used to finish up without either team using their time out.

I say, use the challenge as often as you can.

Seriously. Seems like he wants that 100th goal badly.

So good to see him playing this well.

It is good he is getting those chances. It would be even better if someone could get on one of the tasty rebounds he is generating.

I agree with you but that play was onside. It looked offside at first but I rewinded it and just barely onside.
