Because he's been very bad. Probably one of the worst on this team. If he wants to be considered a two way Center he needs to start competing in the defensive zone.

You are the type of poster who forms an opinion (typically negative), then reaches to find scant evidence to support it. It's irritating.
All joking aside I do appreciate the honesty of a respected panel guy like Kelly Hrudey, but that comment is very interesting. Even though we think it to be true, the NHL won't be impressed with that matter of fact comment.
People don't understand the level of control that the NHL has with this Rogers deal. I do believe the Flames were targeted last season but we don't need that crap carrying over into THIS season, a season which is vital. He pretty much said the ref's were not professional and were targeting us, that can't be GOOD for us.

Or, given that Hrudey isn't a member of the Flames organization, it could cause them to think twice about perceived biases and we could get the benefit of the doubt.
If Brad Treliving came out and said that, absolutely, the NHL would be pissed off at the Flames. But Kelly Hrudey? He's not even on their payroll.
