Well, hope the bats wake up back home or this will be a very quick series.

Missing some very hittable pitches. Can't afford to do that.

Pretty sure LeBron is actually a Yankees fan, but as quasi governor of Ohio he's gotta root for the home team.

either the camera placement is off or the pitch tracker is off, but I see strikes called that are way outside of the zone. maybe they need to get rid of umpires.

Good thing I'm skipping the Flames game. Having to suffer through one terrible effort today is enough.

That is just sad. I can live with Tulo hitting a deep fly off a mistake. It's unacceptable to have Edwin and Jose get absolute meatballs down the heart of the plate and they can't even put the ball in play. That is just a choke. Mistake pitches all day and no one can even hit a hard hit ball. September all over again.
Jays are done and the Indians are going to get crushed in the World Series.

Just like how Cleveland shut done Boston, you can't sit and get behind in the count as they have some of the better wipeout pitches and good D if you hit defensively
Next game get up and take your hacks early in the count

This is Deja Vu from last year. In these first two games the Umps have had a larger than normal strike zone which for a team like the Jays has silenced their bats. The Jays need to adjust and stop trying to hit the ball out of the park.

It's amazing how fast post season moves in MLB. Yesterday at 6pm not a pitch had been thrown and we were all pumped and optimistic we could take the series.
Less than 24 hours later and we're pretty much toast.

Bautista had that mistake pitch in the 9th lined up and just missed i and fouled it off, or it was tied, as simple as that, regardless of everything else.
Good outing from all Jays pitchers. 4 runs against in 2 games.
Look forward to the next 4 games, Jays bats will come around, that's baseball. It's not "try harder" or "wake up" when it comes to batting, when getting a hit 3 out of 10 times is considered above average.

I am not sure I've ever since Darwin Barney hit the ball ever. He seems to strike or ground out everytime. I guess he scored the run today but I must have fallen asleep and missed his hit. Anyways I am not singling out Barney but Blue Jays is playing the way they played in September offensively. Defensively they are not bad though.
Maybe they'll play much much better at home. I am betting they will win in Game 3 and their bats comes alive. Maybe even Game 4 as well.
