Yeah I take Hamilton over some guys in the top 10 of this draft, let alone whoever is there at 15...

You take Hamilton over every D in the draft not named Hanifin, IMO.

I posted this in the other thread but had a feeling he would drop.
Since 2006 a CHL forward that had not scored 20 goals in a junior season pre-draft has not went top 10.

Hamilton is already almost best scenario Hanifin. What a steal of a trade

Hamioton is cool and all, but I spent the last week hoping Connor or Barzal would be there at 15. It still stings a little.

The 2nds are the wildcards in the Hamilton trade. Won't know how that turns out for years. Right now, no brainer though.

I didn't say they were smart doing that. But regardless, having 3 picks in the early teens in a deep draft like this will go a long way to retooling/rebuilding/whatever it is they're doing.

I am a huge fan of Connor, but if I had to pick between him and Dougie Hamilton, I take Hamilton 100X out of 100

LOL if Vancouver takes Harkins as suggested by Millard.

Would much rather them have yet another forward than a potentially good D that can help that wretched blueline some, like Roy or Chabot.

Even then we will never know because the chances that the Flames would have picked the same guys Boston does - are slim.
