Yeah, I can't believe this was his idea.

He was so clearly nervous, unrehearsed and defensive there's no way he'd have chosen to do it without being forced. It was like he delivered that speech under a guillotine.

I raise you from "multi-level marketing" with "omni-channel"

He's so arrogant he probably thought he'd get out there, unscripted and everyone would eat it up. And worse case scenario, he just blames the previous regime and deny that he was apart of that regime.

One might be so bold to say that visually, it was a debacle of epic proportions.

also if he 'wasn't involved' in management decisions at that point how does he know the contract demands?

I chuckled at this comment from a fan.

"Coaching in Edmonton will become a monarchy...Dallas Eakins first born son will be the next head coach."

I don't think so. That guy was sweating bullets before he even opened his mouth.

He wasn't even breathing regularly.

I think he's been told to do nothing as GM - the overall plan is to tank for yet another top pick.

Who was more nervous? MacT or Chevy Guy at the World Series?

Exactly. No matter what BS they are telling their media now, the truth is they've given up and see McDavid on the horizon.

Makes me sick. League needs to intervene.

The Chevy Guy is a legend, he actually got more people aware of the Chevy Colorado which was his job. All Mac-T did here was re-enforce what has been common knowledge for at least 5 years: The Oilers are a clueless franchise that is circling the drain, and seemingly content to do so.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

They have.

The way the draft lottery is set up is that the bottom team only has a 20% chance of winning. Beginning in 2016, all three bottom spots are up for grabs, which means potentially falling to #4 overall for last place teams.

They call those the "Oilers rules".

There is a 4/5 chance a last place oilers team does not get their greasy hands on McDavid.
