Yeah, or we could argue about how a survey was worded.
Your idea is stupid!

New York City's Protect Bike Lanes Have Actually Sped Up Its Car Traffic

Quote:
When New York City first started adding new protected bike lanes in 2007, some drivers made the usual argument against them: Taking street space away from cars would slow down traffic. After years of collecting data, a new report from the city shows that the opposite is true. On some streets redesigned with protected bike lanes, travel times are actually faster. And it turns out the new lanes have a range of other benefits as well.

It is 47% spend less out numbering 2:1 the 20% spend more group.

Do you do this often? Just arbitrarily make things up to support a view?

By that logic, let's subtract 33% from the 47% spend less group, since that's your number for people who have no opinion on the question, and remove them. My logic for this (oh it's as sound as yours, I promise!) is that there will always be a demographic who will say STOP SPENDSHI NOWWW when asked a question, no matter what. So we'll peg that at 33% too.

So guess what?? It's now 20% versus 14%! Guess the spend mores win!

Disclaimer: I made this math stuff up and things.
