The only thing I haven't revealed yet is my role, and that's because I don't fully understand it yet.
Something about CaptainCruch and his presence throught this thread doesn't vibe right to me.

I've also said I'm a player, what's the difference, unless you believe I'm being dishonest on that.
I'm a loose cannon, granted, that's just the way I am. I guess its going to be an interesting vote.

Interesting that I said interesting twice.
Interesting.
Also interesting: random notes
Street Pharm - "Can we just vote for an inactive member so we've lynched someone?" perhaps kicking off the vote train somewhere else after the movement to lynch Blaster failed?
Street Pharm and Octothorpe vote for drake with one minute of each other
And to top it all off, Drake didn't even really defend himself. Just one post. And he lied about his identity in that post too!
"This^ So with that why me?
I'm pretty damn good at hockey as I was granted exceptional status into the OHL. I'm John Tavares."
My eye is now trained directly on Street Pharma and Octothorpe, with Regulator still in my view as well.
I hate revealing my notes this early, but I think we have a chance to gain the upper hand here if just one of those 3 are Mafia.

with = within in the previous post.
Should also note that they piled on drake in the middle of the train... perhaps giving it some time to leave the station?

I agree with dsavillian.
We also want to be careful that we don't leave a player with 10 or so votes against while we debate as the mafia can swoop in and tip the balance to off someone quickly.
We also want to give players time for a deathbed confessional. If a player has special skills they may possess information that is lost the minute we kill them. We don't trust them at the time but if their death reveals them to be a player then the confessional is quite valuable.

Good point, yes. Don't let someone sit on the edge of getting hammered as it would allow the scum to unite and push them over the top.
4-5 votes is a good window to leave them at I think, at least until we have more discussion. We don't need to lynch them immediately. Let the day play out and see what kind of info we can get.

The timing thing is interesting or it could be a matter of piggybacking on what you see in the public forum. But looking at the voting record and at that.
I might as well chuck it and see what happens

They were the seventh and eight vote though which pushed Drake past Blaster86 in the vote count.
If they are working together as mafia that is a really bold move to sacrifice one of your own so early.

Here's where I am at. We need to try and end this 2 kills a night thing before it keeps going.
Crosby = Janitor and Roleblocker
Datsyk = Mason
Chara = Tracker
Going off that it seems like each player has a role based off their NHL ability...It could give a clue to role, so who would be most likely to be able to night kill us?
activeStick = Kopitar
agulati = Pietraneglo
wood = Luongo
Street Pharmacist = Thornton
Aeneas = Karlsson
undercoverbrother = Thomas
Timbo = Jagr
Lego Man = Stamkos
stazzy33 = Semin
CaptainCrunch = Scheifele
GP_Matt = Parros
Huntingwhale = Kane
dsavillian = Ovechkin
Blaster86 = Zetterberg
Me = Iginla
Regulator75 = Kessel
Octothorp = Weber
dissentowner = Doan
Anduril = Benn
HalifaxDrunk = Toews

I think it would be hardest for Mafia to vote for Drake early on before it gained momentum because they did not know it would go that way, and then afterwards it's meaningless strategically when the vote doesn't make a difference. Therefore, Mafia killing off Drake in the 7th/8th vote would be the 'lowest risk/highest potential pay off' move. Something to keep in mind I think.
You guys are right in that it might not be the best idea to pile on CC so early, but it's nice to see someone squeal under pressure sometimes.

Drake was a pretty bad person for them to lose if you look at his roles.
Edit: I don't think they would really want to vote him out.

Interesting.
The only clear thing I infer from that is that stazzy33 must be innocent. I mean semin can barely throw a punch let alone be an assassin.

Something doesn't feel right about Huntingwhale. His posts have no info to them, he keeps voting Sliver early on and for no reason.
If he is part of the players then why is he not contributing, and why is he just voting randomly. He is really offering nothing to us either way.

I noticed an odd voting pattern on day one that I wanted to share after having some time to evaluate it.
Drake was part of the mafia, so if we have a chance at detecting them working together - his voting is the place to start.
Look at the first significant round of "piling on" votes on day one:
HalifaxDrunk opened the voting (12:27pm on the 12th)
drake - no reason (5:38pm on the 12th)
octothorpe - "He's either management, or he's so confused that he's a liability to the rest of us." (8:48pm on the 12th)
Regulartor75 - "Someone needs to go. " (10:48pm on the 12th)
Street Pharmacist - "In the words of Russell Peters "Somebody gonna get hurt. And it's not gonna be me"" (11:01pm on the 12th)
Note the time stamps on a couple of those. 10:48 and 11:01 that evening. Did a PM go out saying "lets all hop on Blaster and try to off him?" The mafia doesn't always work together to sway the vote on day one, but I think it requires some investigation.
When it happened, I felt that the piling on Blaster was suspicious but I wasn't 100% sure. Still lots of room for coincidence. Now that I've seen that Drake was part of the Mafia, I'm going to dig deeper into the Drake voting pattern and see if we can identify any anomalies there.
I'm not voting until I complete my analysis.

HEY NOW! I VOTED FOR Blaster86 because he was the next most votes to me! I didn't want to get lynched!

Well the actual players people claim to be might be a clue but we have to be careful about basing decisions off it since we really have no clue.
For example, if he go by this reasoning, and since Crosby was with the NHL, does that mean all high profile guys are? Or does it mean big time point producers?
Pretty much a crap shoot.
I'm just surprised we got Drake right away!

Lynching mafia on day one is like winning the lottery.
Unfortunately we probably have an assassin too, so our numbers will dwindle quite quickly here.

You have played before, is there any reason why Street Pharmacist would go from being Joe Thornton to Don Cherry?

I've mostly played in live games, only a few times on a forum.
No clue... though it is kind of funny. His Don Cherry needs a bit of work though.
