Baertschi looked great once he woke up.
Berra looked very solid. Great lateral movement and good positioning.
Kanzig was in way over his head. Send him back to junior before his confidence is shot.
Wideman made some stupid plays with the puck and at least one really bad penalty. If the Flames want to be respectable, he has to be solid at both ends night in night out.
I only seen the end of the game after the other game ended but Kanzig seemed pretty good. Kulak on the other hand......
Man...It's 6 am here....Stayed up all night in Scotland to watch this game (very hockey starved Canadian here.) This comeback (although, only a preseason game) was totally worth it. Love you, Flames.

Thought Berra played great and stole this one. Horak and Hanowski were strong all game. Galiardi looked good at center. Sven upped his game in the third. Jooris had a really strong 3rd period. The line juggling really helped spark the team and they did not quit. Really happy for them considering how the lineups were split.
Only saw the 3rd period and OT but Galiardi's play at center looked good. Thought it might look like the Tanguay experiment. Glad it did not.
Positionally Berra is solid. but he's so agile he can get back and make some crazy saves if he gets caught out of position. Then add his size. I truly believe this guys is the number one this season. Most goalies his size are blocking goalies , he isn't.

Baertschi leads all forwards in ice time for the night. Berra has some great stats.
Hudler must have gotten hurt. Kind of wish Knight had played in this game. They gave the youngsters some minutes. I think he played less than 7 minutes in Calgary.
To me Kanzig has looked better than he sounded when they drafted him.
Granlund with zero PP time. Shame. Should be one of his main strengths. I hope everyone gets a fair chance. Same with the goalies. They always say that everyone's equal in camp, but of course it's never really true.
