Yeah they weren't even in the play and if anything should have been one penalty for the Wings which would have kept the play going. Just a bush league call.

I can see how there is intent to originally call a penalty, but I'm not sure how Saad winds up in a coincidental situation.

Because they don't want to put the Wings shorthanded late in this game. Honestly this is the kind of crap I expect from the NBA not the NHL.

Calling off a series winning goal because of an inconsequential exchange between two players away from the play is so bush league, makes the NHL look like amateur hour. That ref needs to be forced to publicly apologize
