Tigers beat the Athletics in a close game. Scherzer with 11 strikeouts, Leyland left him in one inning too long. It was a nail biter in the last few innings.

I have finally sobered up since that painful play. In good news if we are going to lose a game it should be against Lester. That play still doesn't sit right with me. I feel bad for the kid but I have a good feeling we can bounce back today!

First postseason game in history where both starters had 9+ Ks and no runs allowed.

Leyland blew it leaving Albuquerque in there after Cespides hit a lead off double. Should have had Porcello in there to start the 9th.

I didn't expect that against Price, but the offense has been firing on all cylinders. Especially Ortiz and Ellsbury. Lackey pitched better than I expected him to, and the Rays now have to deal with Buchholz tomorrow.

Price hasn't been himself all year and even since coming back from his injury has been so so. The trop is sold out for Monday so it should be a loud crowd and a fun game

I really, really hate Puig!

Gattis catches a routine popup and it's 2-0 right now Braves, instead its 4-2 Dodgers.

A terrible NLDS matchup for the Braves imo. Another great regular season with another loss in the playoffs.

The Braves were the best match up for the Dodgers, though I would feel better if Kemp and Ethier were not injured.

A's lead the Tigers 2 games to 1 after their win this afternoon. A's have a chance to close it out tomorrow vs Doug Fister.

Kershaw will start tonight’s game after throwing 125 pitches the other night. He has never pitched on three days rest. I'm not too sure its the brightest idea Mattingly has ever had.

The length of this game is just ridiculous.
