Rumor: Flames to Have New 3rd Jersey Next Year

Has anyone found these jerseys with Iginla crested on the back already for a good price?

Also why are these different than the retro jerseys from 2-3 years ago? These ones have different materials at all the color breaks and that weird slit at the bottom of the jersey and the collar is different.

When they first brought back the retro for the 30th anniversary season (2010) they were not the new Reebok cut. After the 30th celebrations were over they changed the jersey to the new Reebok cut which is why there is a difference with the collar and materials.

I have the retro from 2010 and have ordered the newer one because the new jerseys fit me better.

Only thing I didn't like about the retro's was the fact that the flaming "C" is a little too big. I like the size on our home ones better.

I believe Fan Attic sends their orders to Great Plains, and they can still do the old styles (they did a black horsehead and white pedestal for me last year).

Yeah, I wear an 80s original and the C is definitely much smaller.

These really should be our full time jerseys... They look fantastic. I don't dislike the regular homes as much as some, but they really don't hold a candle to the alternates...

I was at the Sport Chek on 130th ave last night and they had iggy retros on sale for $39.

Thanks again for the lookout, just picked one up at Southcentre. When I left they had one L left, and the rest were all S's & XL's. Thank jebus for me not being a "normal" size.

Still can't get over that they're probably gone, what a joke. They better have at least one jersey w/o black next year. Actually I was in River City Sports afterwards chatting with the owner, he said as far as he heard, they were changing the retro thirds to the actual home, and were bringing in the retro white as the away. Maybe they're selling these because they're touching it up? (shrinking the C?) Either that or he doesn't know wtf he's talking about..

I too find it odd that they're getting rid of the best jersey this team has ever worn. What's strange, also, is that most of the player images on the side of the official website are in the retro jersey. I think only Kipper's image is in the regular home.

Had a relative pick up 2 Mediums at West Ed Mall...making 3 total.

Plan to put Kiprusoff on the back of one, leaving two open to do with what I will.

Really, a freakin' crazy deal. Got 3 for the price of 3/4 of one. And it's easily my favorite of the three they wore last season.

all it takes is a new shoulder patch or a slight modification of any sort for the old ones to be discontinued as well. I am not going to get all panicked until something is offical
