ShiDavidi Travis Snider left game last night after jamming right wrist diving for ball in OF. Was slated to have MRI today

In case people were wondering, through 19 games he's batting .400 with 4HR, 23RBI and a 1.17OPS in AAA

bautista has got to be on pace for shattering a record for pop outs...every at-bat right now is a pop out.

And Lawrie is on pace for a stunning number of errors...

Has to be very frustrating for him, but I have faith he will rebound.

So I haven't been watching the season too closely. What's with the bats? It seems that outside of 3 or 4 regs near everyone else is off to a poor-to-middling start.

Look at a guy like League, then look at the Jays' closers. It's unfortunate.

What does this even mean? Corderro is lost without his fastball and I'm not going to argue he's a quality reliever, but the Jays bullpen I feel is actually pretty strong after that and losing Santos actually really hurts.

Rough start with the bats, they've been really inconstant. Team really deserves to be 10-10 at the end of the day, just as many positives as negatives but it does sting knowing if some of the regular bats were going, this team could have been off to a great start

Joey Bats is missing pitches he would have put in the upper-deck the past few years, he's getting frustrated with actual strike calls, complaining they were outside (Drabek-like 2011 frustration). Edwin is hitting a tonne, just as he only did for the last month last season.

I'm mostly concerned about Morrow, I've always thought he was a 3 or 4 at best, he went through Seattle today, lets see what he does next 2 starts. the new revamped bullpen, haven't given up hope on it, but Janssen and Oliver (whats up moon ) have been terrible.

Losing 5/6 to Baltimore, will proably come back to haunt.

Where to begin.....

How in the world has Darren Oliver been deemed to have been terrible?! He's walked one batter and allowed 2 runs. (Moon wasn't the one that didn't like Oliver)

In 85 games since the 2011 all-star break, Encarnacion is batting .294 with 17 homers, 55 RBIs and a .370 OBP. So the "he only hit well during the last month of the season" storyline sure doesn't work.

Save me the, because it's his old team it was easy for Morrow to throw 6 shutout innings and 9 K's. Not sure why you are wooried about Morrow, at the very worst he is still a good #3-#4 starter as you said. In 5 starts he's had one bad one, an average one and 3 VERY good ones, and this is while still adjusting his mechanics.

Nope it was me, glad he's doing well for you. I'm doing what I can to ensure he doesn't suck for the Jays by not watching him pitch. (apparently I'm his kryptonite, and am nice enough to let him thrive elsewhere)

I'll call you on Encarnacion, without the last 1 - 1/2 months last season, he wouldn't have been resigned. I've always liked his power - I hope he keeps it together through the entire year.

As for Morrow, I'll see you back here two starts from now, he's done this too often, looked good and then followed it up with subpar outings.

Well the Jays do have Morrow in the rotation thanks to dealing him. League was complete garbage before we dealt him and we've now gained a quality starter. I can't see how the deal isn't a win for the jays.

The bigger question has got to be if the Jays call up D'aunard at some point soon. Arrencibia isn't cutting it at all so far this year - if you toss in the fact that Lind is also looking as inept as last year, the Jays have two serious holes in the batting order. If they can work in a much better defensive player and overall much better bat at catcher in D'aunard, it definitely won't hurt the teams chances of snagging a wildcard spot this year.

I think they will allow D'Arnaud to develop at AAA until they feel he is ready. They are not going to bring him up just because JPA has struggled so far this season. Plus, JPA has looked much better at the plate the last couple weeks.

D'Arnaud actually got off to a slow start this season to.

Snider on the DL but AAA DL is only 7 days
