Sounds like the city of Baltimore is planning to send at least 3,000 students on 60 buses to Washington DC for the march on the 24th. Students from all over the city marched on city hall today.
The March For Our Lives in DC is scheduled on March 24. I think we're going to hear alot more from these kids as that date nears. It'll be interesting to see how many kids show up for this march.
I think this is a big part of it. The current politicians in power are stuck in their ways, they have to tow the NRA company line now, they can't turn back on it. But it's going to be interesting come November, if these kids can keep momentum, keep their story fresh in people's minds--this election could get very interesting, and that's where some change might happen.
If nothing else, getting a bunch of teenagers politically active is going to alter the landscape of politics in this country.

They should go with "kids' lives matter". Then, when someone responds that "all lives matter", they can say, "sure, we should protect adults from gun violence too".
Definitely only show games that are already rated 17+ and M.
Absolutely don't mention these games are also available in Canada (where mass shootings don't occur).

Not technically a mass shooting yet but could potentially become one. An active shooter has taken three hostages at a veterans home in Northern California. Where is Trump to rush in to rescue these veterans when we need him?

That would be one of those Veterans, the ones we are asking to guard the schools from nutjob shooters I would assume.
Ok, I'm against the idea of armed guards and people with guns at schools, teachers, veterans whatever.
But I'm hoping that you're not trying to say all veterans are untrustworthy or mentally unbalanced.
This guy had pretty severe PTSD. The story is tragic all around, especially for the victims who were killed for trying to help.
But not only does this story emphasize the need for serious gun control reform, but also that there are veterans in Canada and the US in severe need of help, that seem to be falling through the cracks.

Apologies for my facitious tone but in truth as a group in the US veterans have massively more issues with mental health, depression, suicide, domestic violence, PTSD etc than the non veteran population, I cannot think of a group statistically that are less capable of being hired to be police officers, school security without massive issues.
