Maybe it's just me, but i thought that Black Adam trailer looked bad. Maybe not bad bad, but just not good. I was expecting something different i guess, its just that he's one of the best characters in DC imo. I guess I wanted him to be more like he's portrayed in the comics/animated movies.

I was disappointed too. Random superheroes appearing and nothing about Black Adam seemed particularly unique. Hopefully just a bad trailer.

It has got to be pretty bad if even NadalFan has nothing to say along with the trailer...Usually there is a bit of commentary on how amazing or fun the trailer looked.

I really liked the trailer, it's just every time I say something posters call me a fan boy and say yea of course YOU liked it. So I presented it without comment

This stop motion movie is being released to Shudder on June 16th. It was written, produced and directed by Phil Tippet. It's taken him 30 years to complete.
He worked on the Star Wars trilogy, RoboCop and Jurassic Park. He actually shelved the project while making Jurassic Park because of what they were doing on that film, he felt stop motion was dead.
It looks insane.

I thought the Black Adam trailer looked like a parody of the MCU. Bargain bin Dr Strange. Hawkman. A hero jumping out of a plane basically the same shot as Black Panther.
It’ll probably be better. Just looks like Black Adam, from the team that brought you Meet the Spartans.
Without saying too much, had a conversation with a high level technician on Wakanda Forever who I think accidently let slip that they are (possible spoiler):
Spoiler!
Doing reshoots involving "tank work" which to me all but confirms Namor in this movie. Already rumoured pretty hard, but no one cast for him as of yet AFAIK.

It's wild to me that such a contemporary adaptation is on the TV screen. Marvel of course has 60+ years of shared in-universe continuity to mine, and has understandably leaned on a lot of classic characters and stories. Kamala Khan as Ms. Marvel wasn't announced until 2013, and didn't appear in her own series until 2014. 8-ish years from conception to the small screen is a remarkable turnaround time. Love to see the references to the comic creators in the episode -- hope they all got fat cheques as well.
I'm not sure if this series will be good, or if this first episode was good. I'll leave that to critics. But it was fun, and it had a lot of heart. I enjoyed it.
