I really liked Damar. His character arc, IMO, was a microcosm of all Cardassia.

Dutiful subordinate--> Pesky enemy --> emboldened second in command ---> GLORIOUS LEADER (who finds out that they're an undignified puppet ---> shameful collaborator ---> reluctant conspirator ---> leader to the downtrodden ---> self sacrificing hero

When Veela later fawns over him I don't think she's just doing it for Garak's shame. He's literally the picture of all cardassia, and his effort to reclaim his honor is for all cardassians to replicate.

Season 3 of Strange New Worlds not even released yet its booked for a Season 4.

Agreed, it was fun when we would only have to wait 3-4 months for the new season to start in the fall. Now we're waiting 1.5 to 2 years, I don't even remember what happened by the time the new season of something comes out.
