Time to DFA Mitch White. He clearly needs a maid service at home because he can’t clean things up.
It REALLY sucks that we couldn’t give Swanson another day off. They need to find as many chances to rest him as possible. He cannot continue to pitch at the frequency that he did before the All Star Game.

If Mitch White gets right, he projects as a 4-5 inning 5th starter/middle reliever. That is about as low of a ceiling as you could get. I know we grossly overpaid for him but that’s a sunk cost.
Glad to see the team sweep the D’backs - lots of good work done by the hitters in the last half of the game to stretch the lead in each game. Seeing a lot of improvement in the situational hitting department.

If you take that series vs the Red Sox out the Jays are 14-2 in their last 16 games. Stupid red Sox.
But even with that series, 14-5 is not too shabby at all.
