I'm not sure if a movie with the primarily blue alien cast will work. The original had a human Sam Worthington for the audience to connect with.
I have difficulty connecting with purely CG constructions in an overly CG movie. The first Avatar was groundbreaking for 3D and spectacle just like how the original Jurassic Park was groundbreaking for introducing CG to the general audience.
Today, this just looks like many other CG fests or a AAA videogame..
if a movie uses algerian one day, i will flip out. That's my most cliched font that i see businesses making their $5000 lightbox signs in all over the place.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Black Adam is one of the cooler characters in DC. He's similar to Namor in Marvel as far as attitude goes. "Don't mess with me or my people" kind of thing. The Shazam movies were not of interest to me but this looks edgier which a Black Adam movie should be.

He was a straight up villain for a long time, but a while back they decided 'anti-hero' was the direction they wanted to go, so now yeah...he's an anti-hero.
Hulu is doing something interesting with this one. They dubbed the movie in Comanche so you'll have the option of viewing the movie with that language track.
Edit: Made a mistake about doing multiple takes, rather than just overdubbing.
Yeah. Pretty excited for Prey. I like the idea of using an indigenous group of protagonists. They'll have the advantage of growing up in and knowing their territory. Hopefully the writers will actually write for that, as opposed to just making various kinds of Super-predators/hybrids.
Hulu is doing something interesting with this one. They filmed all the scenes twice, once in English and once in Comanche so you'll have the option of viewing the movie in either way.
I'll probably watch the Comanche one as they look out of place speaking perfect English in the trailer.
