Too many missed shots in the last two ends costs the gold.

It was the 10th end take out that was the real disappointment. Really an easy shot and she blew it. I feel bad for her and especially her team mates.

Congrats on a silver though. Hoping that would bolster Canada's chances at winning the gold medal total.

That 10th end was costly. Canada should of had this, all Bernard had to do was just tap that yellow stone, give Sweden 1 and game over. The easiest shot.

The word choke is thrown out there way too often, but that definitely was a choke. It should've easily been over in 10.

Martin is favored in his match. Sweden was favored in this one. As I said earlier, Bernard gained a lot of experience. Norberg was the defending gold medalist.

Out of hockey and curling I said I expected 3 Golds and 1 Silver. So far 1 Gold, 1 Silver.

Too bad. Cheryl did way better than anyone expected coming into the Olympics. Her front end really let her down in that extra end, 2 missed shots in a row, then a bad takeout by her third put her in a difficult position.

Oh well. Congrats on the Silver medal Cheryl. Way to go!

Thats probably the hardest way to lose. Having the gold medal literally inches away from you. They should still be very proud of the silver medal.

my sister-in-law wasn't at all surprised by Cheryl's performance, they used to curl together in Calgary when they were in their 20's. according to her making the big shot at the right time has always been an issue for Bernard, which led to so many of her matches going to extra ends even back then

Did they convert the Pacific Coliseum to Olympic sized ice for figure skating and short track? The front row of seats on the one side look very high and I would think that losing 15 feet of width would make a big difference in Short Track.

Someone in Australia definitely has a sense of humour, or no clue what Tron is. Either way it's funny.
