Red Sox lost big this afternoon. A win tonight and the Jays are only 5 back of the Sox. Down from 10 just a week ago and a big 4 game series against them coming up.

I have my eyes fully set on catching those ####ballers. I have always hated the Red Sox with a burning passion, but this year is next level. All those disgusting neck beards and punchable faces winning games they shouldnt. Hopefully all those miraculous 8 run rally's dry up and they fall like a stone through the standings.

Well. It took 4 months but Vladdy appears to be in his first slump of the season. 1 for his last 11.

Climber is dope! What a beautiful save. Throwing strikes and it was never in doubt.

This team is finally on a roll. Now please, please beat the Red Sox.

6-1 since they're home, 2.5 back of WC and a 4 game set with the Sox this weekend. Best part of it is that I'll be there tomorrow night Let's Go Blue Jays!!!!

Cimber coming into the game is always such a relief in tight games.

He instantly lowers my stress level. Been lights out so far.

Both Cimber and Richards have been amazing since the Jays acquired them. Just rocks down there.

Can you believe that both of them are under team control until 2025 too?

In fact, that got me curious so I thought I'd have a look at the Jays bullpen control going forward:

Romano (2026)
Merryweather (2027)
Cimber (2025)
Richards (2025)
Mayza (2026)
Borucki (2025)

Relievers are so volatile and unpredictable, but looks like some decent pillars to build the bullpen around for the next few years at least.

Even guys like Hatch, Murphy, Kay, Thornton and Castro all have years of control left. Not that any of them have had strong years, but again, relievers can turn on a dime. Hell, Ryan Tepera (remember him?) is one of the best relievers in baseball the last couple of seasons.

Unfortunately I think Pearson might be on that list as well. I really hope he can be that Ace starter he looked like he could be in the minors but damn he's made of glass.

Yeah, I can see it too now. If he turns into an elite high leverage reliever/closer it wouldn't be the worst thing though.

Big series.

We can find out if the Jays are finally turning a corner, or if the Red Sox are just going to knock them back down again.

Many people predicted some time ago that PEarson would end up in the pen. I think that's where his career is headed.

Springer hitting .288 in 39 games with 13 homers.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but that would put him on pace for 52 over a full season.

He’s a mid season acquisition unto himself.
