I'm against Godwinning too, largely because it's a crying wolf issue. If everyone you disagree with is compared to Hitler, then being comparable to Hitler loses its sting. Butnthere are actual legitimate comparisons to be made here. The fact that they don't resonate is a product of precisely this problem. We've taken the force out of it through overuse.

A few pages back there's a picture of Trump waving to the crowd and it was still compared to Hitler.
Look, I'm not some huge Trump fan, but he isn't Hitler. That's going too far. He's a bigot, a narcissist, and a loudmouth, but he's not a Nazi.

Man, Sanders looks OLD...Could he handle a presidency? They usually age at 5x speed when they hit office.

See but that's the sort of comparison chart that can be made about most populist leaders. It's the same that was made about GW Bush. The real similarities are in the way he's incurring support and the sheer mindlessness of it; the whole "I could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose a vote" aspect, more than anything else.

Not really. Bush did not use racism, as a tool to accumulate votes. Trump is somewhat unique, in doing so. Name one president who wanted to build a wall on the US border to keep Mexicans out, or make Muslims carry special identification ID?

Even after 9/11 Bush said we shouldn't blame all muslims. That it was just that particular group.

Etc etc etc... I've no doubt you could find the same for Obama or Hillary or Putin.

You can fairly claim Trump is most comparable to Mussolini tho.
Hell most political analysts are now comparing him to Mussolini.
And in your chart with Cuomo I don't get the point your trying to make? That he is so anti Hitler???
The Ted Cruz one is also reaching.
If you want to make it more condemning that he is like Hitler the chart should show his dad was a Hitler supporter.
Fred C. Koch was a Nazi sympathizer and worked with business partner William Rhodes Davis. Who also was a Nazi sympathizer.
They built they majority of Key Oil refineries that had personally been appoved by Hitler.
All your convincing me with those charts are the Republicans align with Fascists pretty well.
I get your point by saying It can done to compare any one but most are reaching or miss the points.
Trump and Bush have almost to a tee in comparable points.

My point, which I thought was obvious, is that those charts pop up for just about any politician you can think of these days and can be manipulated to make just about anyone look Hitleresque. They're not useful in any way.

Democratic president Franklin D Roosevelt set up Japanese internment camps in America shortly after the attack on pearl harbour.

So...what? That makes what Trump wants to do ok? No rational person defends those camps and they are looked upon with revulsion and shame in the country's history. What's your point? That a Democrat did something bad once so it's OK for a Republican to?

Bless your heart. That didn't really answer his question though, FDR didn't run on a policy of rounding up Japanese people, it was a short-sighted action in response to the thing that finally got the US in WWII. Not really comparable to Trump's campaign at all.

Natural-born citizen, meaning he had at least one parent who was a US citizens at the time of his birth.
Where you were born only matters (for presidential eligibility) if you have non-US parents.
(Edited, changed from naturalized to natural-born)
