I actually do like Generations for the most part - the final act really undermines the rest of the movie.

There's also no tension in the final scene because if they fail in stopping the bad guy again, they just get sucked back in to the Nexus and get another crack at it. The only way for the villain to succeed is for Picard to choose to stay in the Nexus.

I wonder what the nexus was like in the mirror universe.
Did they get sucked onto the Bridge of the Discovery to spend all eternity there?

It all makes sense now.
Mr. Wilhelm, the GM of the New York Yankees from the Seinfeld Universe who was coerced by a Carpet Cleaning Cult became a Starfleet Admiral.
The Sunshine Carpet Cleaning Cult founded Starfleet! And thats how we got Star Trek: Discovery!
All the pieces are coming together...

Was never going to work at the first pass, but it confirmed for both of them that they felt the same way.

Yeah if anything it was a fairly mature end to the relationship.
But I would've banged her 14 ways to Wednesday first.

Clearly he did. Hence the entire plot of Star Trek: Picard.
Although with the last name of 'Crusher' she named the kid something cool like 'Rock' or something.

My first "special dream" was about Crusher. Very bizarrely (still don't understand why) she was dressed in one of those TNG surgical gowns that only shows the square of face.
huh.

Dick Crusher is a porn name, but Bobby Crusher is an all time sports name imo.

Considering the way this conversation had turned to be about Wesley, it took me a second to unpack what I was reading here when you said just "Crusher"...

I think its super cute that in the future the 'onesie' is considered acceptable external attire.

We're all in Monahammer's dreams. You make peace with it after a while.
Its like TNG Season 1. Its a little uncomfortable at the beginning but you have to just keep on going.
