Make no mistake, guys like James Sharman and Kristian Jack are almost part of the team and program. They're really the only media members in this country that covered soccer and this team over the past decade since they both started at the Score.

Massive win for Costa Rica. They are huge favorites to beat Panama to 4th now.

Panama need a miracle. They have to get a result against the Americans today, which is unlikely, and then beat Canada and hope that the USA beat Costa Rica...plus some luck with goal differential.

Here's Davies' reaction when the final whistle blew. A shame Bayern wouldn't let him be with Canada to celebrate.

Going to be tough. Mexico have an easy home game last and the US is running up the goal difference right now.

As has been the case, the non Gareth Wheeler and Terry Dunfield broadcast just seems to capture the moment of goals better.
Here's the second goal, and IMO the crowd celebration looks sounds a lot more exciting (the camera shots were the same feed) then Wheeler awkwardly trying to voiceover something.

Man. I definitely shed a tear. I had come to terms with the thought that Canada was never going to make a WC in my lifetime. CSA was a joke..politics, corruption, poor player selection, no funding…you name it.
I always remember as a kid while in other countries, I was ashamed to say I was a soccer player from Canada. Almost as if it was a caveat. “Yea I play soccer….but in Canada”. Can’t remember how many times I told ppl I was born in the wrong country given my love for the sport.
These boys have put us on the map. What a journey. Can’t wait for Qatar.
