Realistically, considering all of their #1 overalls and draft picks, all the luck that falls into their laps and everything else, sitting back and just letting it happen might be a viable strategy.

looks like congrats are in order, the Oilers are about to win their 6th game of the year in regulation against the power house Krakens. Was surprised to see Hyman score only his first goal, i know he hasnt played much but the sportsnet fanfare upon his return reminded me when Mario unretired.

If there was any Mavi money left over, this would be the best cap consuming thing.

Between the in rink experience, the off ice experience, the media hacks, and his own team’s lack of interest in defending, it’s not looking good for future goaltending.

i'd love for the oil to miss the playoffs by 1 point... and then have the media bring up game 1 of the season when the flames beat them in a shootout
