i feel like Dennis Allen should be fired, if the team outright ignores him and calls the run when they were told to run the kneel down, there is no respect for the coach.

Every Titans fan would welcome back Art Smith with open arms as their OC next year, heck id even take him as the head coach if Vrabel is not coming back

We already know how much that franchise loves mediocrity, so that's not really a surprise.

I mean the Pats are obvious, but the Pats situation kinda sucks. He'll probably be the top candidate for any of the openings.

At least they have a top pick to start fresh. Being the predecessor to Bill would be tough though.

Cant even fathom who the Panthers are going to convince to take over that situation

IMO it's a good situation frr Vrabel as he will get to start over with a new QB, low expectations, and a patient owner that he knows from his time as a player.

Panthers job is the most attractive opening in pro sports history

They will have to pay you a fortune , and their crazy owner will
Fire you after 20 games and pay your full contract

Plus no one will hold it against you in future interviews because they know it’s a dumpster fire !

I'm surprised the Vrabel thing happened this fast. He must have given some pretty strong indicators that he really was no longer keen to lead the Titans franchise.

Sounds like the Titans thought about trading him but either he didn't want that or the Titans didn't want to spend time on it

I'm both legit surprised and equally happy/relieved.

Does Dan Quinn return?

Carroll has been both the reason for the franchise's success and greatest blunders over the past decade +.

I'm happy for what he brought, but yeah, it was time to go. How many coordinators can a guy cycle through at this point before they see what the real problem was?

Such a tough spot for them as a franchise right now. They have a decent roster, but are obviously capped as also rans with Geno as QB. Don't have an obvious path to a better QB, short of maybe gambling on Fields being better away from Chicago.

Do McCarthy or Penix fall to them? Do they take one? Is Lockett done? I always have a doom & gloom feel over Metcalf too.

I'd actually be thrilled if they found a way to get Fields.

It's probably time as he's 72 years old and now is as good a time as any to head into a different direction as they are kind of stuck in the middle mud of of the NFL where they aren't good enough to contend for a Super Bowl and are close to having to start over with the roster.

Not sure about starting over, the past few years have been some of their best drafts in ages. Not addressing QB or edge has been my biggest issue there.

Some roster issues will look after themselves this off season too. Jamal Adams comes to mind.
