Yeah it was a fun story for a bit there but he’s gonna need to fix his swing in the offseason or he’s not an mlb player. He hit .163 in June and is only sitting at .083 in August. His defence isn’t elite enough to be this unreliable at the plate.

It's the most Jays thing ever that when his OPS was 900+ at the beginning of the year he was playing every other game. For awhile they were winning every game he played, because he was hitting like the second coming of Mike Trout.

Now that he's producing like half much offense he's an every day player.

As soon as he became an everyday player, teams quickly had data on him and could see that he has massive holes in his swing and approach. They’ve quickly exploited his weaknesses and he’s simply been unable to adapt.

It’s looking like he’s a player who has power but needs the pitch to be in an extremely specific location but is an automatic out otherwise. He isn’t nearly good enough at the plate right now to make up for his lack of defensive ability (he can play a variety of positions at a below average quality). I think the magic has worn off of him and his days as a major league player are numbered.

Schneider turned into a pumpkin a few months ago and that pumpkin is rotting at this point. Time to dispose of him.

Why are they trying to steal bases with Vladdy at the plate? Just giving away outs when you have your best hitter up. That's the Schneider stuff that I hate.

It makes no sense. Vladdy hits it so hard that even the on-deck guy is in scoring position.

At this point shouldn't the Jay's just tank hard? I mean Anaheim, Oakland, and Washington are close to them. If they outsuck them than they would have a top 4 pick. The baseball draft is wildly unpredictable, but picking higher should be better than picking 11th type of thing.
