Good for him. I'll wait to hear it from LaCanfora before I consider it official.

Ya, I find it odd that no other NFL people have said anything. Usually The Score waits until it's pretty official to tweet about it, but apparently not with this.

For CB Benny Sapp. Any Dolphin fans here want to fill me in on Camarillo?

Tim Cowlishaw is the one who started the rumors, and he is usually accurate. However, apparently not on this unless he is the only one in the know on this one.

I'm no Dolphins fan so others will have more to say, but he has shown flashes.
I think that would be a good trade for the Vikings even if Rice was healthy.
The Vikings are deep at corner.

Are the players opposed to a rookie scale?
There are often training camp stories of players who resent rookies who, "Haven't done anything to earn their money". Are these just a few sour grapes or is that a common attitude?

From what I hear listening to players on the radio/TV, they certainly aren't opposed to playing more games, as long as they are paid for them.
Players hate preseason games, their only focus is not getting injured. Camp would be shorter, another thing the players are in favor of. Marcellus Wiley suggested this morning that a concession to improve the insurance of former players would likely have to be involved due to the increased games.
As for the rookie scale, I haven't heard one current player that wasn't in favor of it. From their point of view, it would mean more money for the vets that have actually earned it. I haven't heard the "official" NFLPA position for a month or so, but last I heard, DeMaurice Smith was in support of the rookie cap as well.

Love him
He will fit in well with your team. He saved the dolphins from going 0-16 with a catch and run of 64 yards.
He then followed up that year by having 50 catches in 09 and 55 catches in an injury season in 08 playing only 11 games. He is a solid reliable receiver that knows how to run routes. He has a great set of hands, he lacks the speed, which you have plenty of anyways. He will be a solid #3 or #4 on your team. With Harvins migrains and Rices injury this was a solid pickup by the Vikes.
Sad to see him go but Hartline has emerged as a solid reciever and is a lot younger with more upside.

Donnie Avery is most likely done for the year after a knee injury last night. Sam Hurd could be on his way to St.Louis.

Matt Leinart benched in favour of Derek Anderson.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/traini...ory?id=5504910
For all the hype the 2006 draft had surrounding its QBs, none of them have delivered anything yet. The list is pretty bad:
3rd overall - Vince Young (Titans)
10th overall - Matt Leinart (Cardinals)
11th overall - Jay Cutler (Broncos)
49th overall - Kellen Clemens (Jets)
64th overall - Tavaris Jackson (Vikings)
81st overall - Charlie Whitehurst (Chargers)
85th overall - Brodie Croyle (Chiefs)
103rd overall - Brad Smith (Jets)
148th overall - Ingle Martin (Packers)
164th overall - Omar Jacobs (Steelers)
193rd overall - Reggie McNeal (Bengals)
194th overall - Bruce Gradkowski (Bucs)
223rd overall - DJ Shockley (Falcons)
A few of question marks and a lot of busts on that list. At least Young has a Pro Bowl and a playoff appearance to his credit, but the rest have done absolutely nothing. The only other guy on that list who's turned into a serviceable anything is Gradkowski.

^ Reggie McNeal is still playing pro football up here in Canada with Toronto as a WR signed as a QB but due to injuries with WR he made the switch. Just saying he is still playing football and is an decent WR nothing speculator though.

I know Cutler had a rough year with the INT's last year, but he's obviously a better NFL QB that Gradkowski.

Brad Smith is a serviceable WR and wildcat QB he gets plenty of playing time though that will drop this season with Holmes being added... Although I am sure you were talking about as a QB he hasn't done anything.
