Yeah. Apparently whatever Roy said about his injury doesn't really exist according to other doctors and it's complete horse .
So for a manager coming in for an arm around the shoulder he has: alienated our best CB, pissed off our world class GK and ST and pissed Mascherano off. He's insulted our RB, when he hasn't played and then doesn't play him, he's said brilliant play by Kelly then doesn't play him. He's called Lucas as apart of the B team and bigs his e signing Poulsen and then when Poulsen sucks ass like everyone knew he would and Lucas plays good football it's "I've always had confidence in him."
Roy is a ing incompetent, bag of a manager. He has no idea what the hell he's doing, he keeps playing this e 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 when it's clear that 4-2-3-1 is a far better formaiton for us.
He can right off, and try his hand with the u-10s if he even has the tactical acumen to battle with volunteer coaches.

ughhh.
just when I was about to change my mind on Lucas, he puts in a display like that. What a stupid second yellow card. it might not have mattered in the game, but now hes suspended and Poulsen will get more playing time.

Lucas had a very good game aside from the red. What are you talking about? He won a ton of headers, he went into challenges(many of them) hard, he was passing along the floor and retaining possession(the right idea) and he had his head up the whole time.
You can see the passion he has for the game and the club, even with the last challenge. He was fuming and raring to have a go at anyone where as most of the team looked disinterested.
And Poulsen doesn't necessarily need to play, but Roy will play him. If he shifts Meireles into Lucas' role and then plays Cole/Shelvey in the hole we'll be ok.
That Italian flop who had the most assists in open play last year since January would be mighty perfect. Oh wait the er shipped him off to Turin for free and made him available for peanuts and bought deadwood Juventus fans hated.
I also <3 Konchesky.

He has been great for Juventus this season as well, I was not sure why Liverpool gave up on him so quickly.
Although it should be said that since he is so fragile and gets injured so often the tough tackling nature of the EPL is not the best for him.

i was talking more about his second yellow, not his overall display. he has been liverpools best player the last 3 games, so it was dumb of him to throw himself into a dumb tackle to get himself booked again.
I love Konchesky too. I think he's been great for us. Carra, aside from teh Chelsea game, has been awful. Did anyone see him yelling at the supporters as he was leaving the pitch? wonder what that was about.
Also, Johnson slams Woy in the papers

Wait, you do know I was being sarcastic about Konchesky right? I hate the player, think he's e.
I think Jamie was yelling at the supporters for chanting Dalglish. It's interesting to note that Roy still doesn't have a song. Jamie hasn't heard his sung in a while either.

Henry is saying not to expect any major signings until the summer. Hopefully the same can be said about major sales.
Right now, I'm really not happy with Woy or Konchesky, or really anyone thats not Reina, Torres or Gerrard.
I'd be over the moon if they could get their poop in a group long enough to win 4th and then get a serious overhaul of this team during the summer.
Because I gotta tell ya, looking at the midfield of this team versus this team's midfield from 3 years ago makes me fataing cringe in disgust.

Carra gone for 3 months with a dislocated shoulder, but Stevie is expected to play this weekend and Cole should be good to go this Thursday against Steaua.

Yeah. Not the best situation as injuries are never good, but I'm always a fan of Zorba and teenage mutant Martin Sktrel at CB.

This is true. I'm actually a really big fan of the belligerent Greek.

I soooooooooooo hope I'm not too busy Monday. I wanna swing a nice long lunch, especially since my brother (and roommate is a villa fan)...and I mean, every time Villa do well against us, that means that we've sorta gone backwards since Houllier...:S
Less than a month from a transfer window with our new owners. What do you think happens? There was a quib not too long ago that we were targetting a "world class" player, and if the price was right, they open the wallets. Never really said who it would be.
Hard to say with world class, but if you were to bring a reasonably good player in January, who would it be, and how much would you expect to spend? I'll start it off.
I'd nominate Lukas Podolski. Bit of Polish bias here, but I think he would be an ideal candidate to play behind Torres. That would allow Stevie to get into the heart of the midfield where he is best (even though he's fantastic behind Nando as well). Due to where he's been playing, I think he'd come at a very good price too. I think 12 million pounds would be pessimistic. While I'm not sure about his status as far as being for sale, I think a player of his quality may tire of playing for a team battling relegation in the Bundesliga, and if such an offer came up, he would welcome it without giving a second thought.

I dont know who they're looking at, but this team has too many problems.
CB is a revolving door, up front if Stevie or Torres arent scoring no one is.
In my opinion, this team needs to sort out its midfield first.
When I see what our midfield looked like 2 years ago to the midfield we have now I cringe.

Benitez in some serious hot water in Milan. Inter President Moratti basically said 'win the Club World Cup, or else.'

These guys are playing like whiny divers right now and its driving me nuts.
This team should have the attitude where it has to bring its best effort all the time just to survive and fight to win, they're out there showing a feeling of entitlement that they dont deserve.
