I like to drive around in that baby at 115 mph, but it only gets one mile per gallon.

That sounds new. How do you like it?
Semi-related, I read recently that the last-gen 1M is now worth more than it was new.

Xtrail has been a great vehicle. Got the Sentra used a year ago and it has been disappointing. Gotta get a better job so I can upgrade my wheels.

Just bought it, take possession on tuesday. There's speculation that BMW might raise the price of the 2 series if it's overly popular. The 1M is nice, but too much money in my opinion.

Anyone have a 328i, A5, or G37? Trying to decide between these three cars.

If you going to look at a BMW, make sure the last 3 digits in the nomenclature is 35i. There are a lot of things I dislike about my 135i, but that 3.0 turbo engine is absolutely unreal, and worth every single penny. In my opinion, it is the best 'bang for the buck' engine anywhere from any manufacturer. My little 'baby BMW' or 'chick BMW' as some people like to call it, has wasted some serious cars, and raised a lot of eyebrows. It is the one thing I would not cheap out on, especially now that the base car is running a 2.0L 4 banger. To me that is BMW sacrilege, especially in a 3 series car. Inline 6's and BMW's are just one of those things in the universe that is meant to be.

Especially when you can pick up low mileage 135i for around 25k, and have a faster car for about $3000 in mods. I took the Burger JB4 out of mine, because the car was simply too ridiculous, and I didn't trust my judgement. The thing was 911 Turbo fast with the box dialed in.

I've already started pricing out mods and I haven't taken possession yet.

The first thing you need to do, is ditch the run flats. They are the worst thing in the history of things. Seriously, take the car straight to a tire shop the day you pick it up, and put something else on. You will be able to pay for your new tires, and then some, with what some sucker will pay you for your 3 X the price take-offs.

i'm still driving the same truck i was when i first posted in this thread... a few things have changed on it though in the last couple years - the biggest being that i got it painted (about a year and a half ago).
i took these last night - i think it still looks pretty sharp for a 25 year old truck!!
** ... and please note the the mudflaps and the lack of HID's

Get the G37x if you're driving it year round, imo. Unbelievable in winter weather and incredibly reliable without giving up much of anything to the others as far as the cockpit experience. The kimono-style seats are particularly awesome.

I test drove a G37x and an A5, and I preferred the A5 personally. The Infiniti I think was cheaper though if I recall.

Not bad at all...
The paint looks excellent (or perhaps the photography does it justice).
Where did you get it done? How much?

Appreciate the effort, but I'm not sure those napkin-sized mudflaps 2 feet off the ground will do that much.
