What do you think the point spread for Miami vs NE will be next week.

I'm thinking this might be the first 30+ point spread in Las Vegas everr. And being home automatically gives you a 3 point edge.

Damn NE is good!!!!

Well I'm thinking that was the Saints team most expected to see this season. Man did they ever have their way with the Seahawks in the first half.

Hasselbeck's overrated true colors showing for everyone on national TV. Pathetic execution all game long, the rainbow he throws up while the team driving put the end of the game. Passes behind players, poor decisions. It was as bad last week, and ever snce the Superbowl, you get the sense he thinks every season is going to be a walk in the park.

Without Alexander running, he doesn't have the weapons he had 2 years ago, but he's a cocky stubborn selfish player who can't adapt within the game on his own, and needs (and always has) Holmgren holding his hand every step of the way. The selfish side shows when he makes plays like he did on the horrible INT at the end. He doesn't have the natural talent, and Homgren has staked his career in Seattle on him the last 5 years. Unfortunatly, he's making the same mistakes he did 4 years ago, and, looking at Holmgren's face, its pretty clear he's making those slefish errors on his own. He's puty when things are down and hasn't lead the Seahawks from behind very often over the past few years.

He folds in the clutch or when behind...he still had a chance last year in the NFC divisional game, but he gets sacked when he had an open guy whcih would've meant a field goal try...but the sack pushe them out, and the bears took the ball down the field and scored. Last week, a horrible throw at the end of the first half for an INT drains any mometum, and instead of being down 7, they're down 14 and don't score the rest of the game.

Seahawks are in trouble longer term...these issues such as Alexander getting booed for not running with much purpose, and selfish QB who's not maturing may have Holmgren's head on the block..and Holmgren's making some poor play seelction as a resul of his top paid, main weapons, not executing anywhere near the level they need to. Short term, they're ok because they're in the NFC west.

Man finally!!! Where has this team been? The O-line actually showed up, Reggie lived up to the hype for once, and Drew looked like he actually had confidence in his receivers. Seattle's ineptitude was also a massive part of the equation, but hey I'll take it.

Earlier today, one of the commentators said that he thinks that this could be the year that the '72 Dolphins don't get to crack the bubbly. After seeing the highlights from the Miami game, it looks like the 72 Dolphins may be mourning an 0-16 season to boot.

edit, he figures that the pats are so good, they could do it.

I was at the game tonight. It was amazing how quickly the fans were turning on the 'hawks when things went wrong! They booed Alexander all game.

The pass defense could get pressure due to a strong run defense, Brees had NO pressure on him. Two things the Saints had not seen all season!

Un-f*****-believeable!! So I had the big anniversary dinner with the girl tonight, so of course I could not watch the game. So I tape it, and go out of my way to avoid TV's all night and even turn off my cellphone so I dont hear what happens from some smart-ass buddies. When we get back to her place around 8:30, I even refuse to watch the last quarter of the game because I wanna watch it fresh from start to finish. So I just get home around 11pm and plug it in to watch it, and what happens? I had left it on "slow play record", so the tape runs out with just over a minute to go in the first half.

Oh well, by that point I had basically seen everything big that happens for the Saints anyways by the sounds of it, at least offensively. Its amazing how big a part of the offence Bush has become the past couple weeks, Payton just leans on him all game. Of course I didnt get to see the second half(), but by the looks of the stats, I'm going ahead and assuming the overall threat of Bush really opened the door for guys like Patten and Moore, who both look like they had big nights, especially Patten.

The Seahawks looked like a mess in that first half so Im not getting too excited, as their ineptitude seemed to play a big part in the outcome. But even the injection of confidence the Saints should receive from this win should be enough to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

F***** slow play record button!!

You need a PVR. It is a sports fanattic's best friend. Not only can you record. But if you get home when the game is half over, you can rewind to the start while the PVR keeps on recording the game. Plus you can fast forward through all the comercials and half time. It is a must have.

I hope either the Pats or Colts do it. Im tired of hearing how "great" that '72 Dolphins team was. It would be even sweeter if Miami went 0-16.

Dolphins are just a mess organization...

Theyre in the NFC West and the NFC in general. The NFC flag ship teams last year (Chicago and New Orleans) are horrible this year and the class of the NFC this year (the Cowboys) were shown where they are in the pecking order this week. The best hopes for the NFC rest on the overrated 'Boys and their overrated Romo and Grandpa Farverera - which is frightening.

Seattle isnt out of it, even though Hasselbeck has been horrible and apparently the Madden curse lasts 2+ years with Alexander.

Get your AFC Championship (aka the real 2008 Superbowl) tickets now because any combination of New England, Indy, San Diego is going to be great.

You mean the two guys that are 2 and 3 in the entire NFL in passing yards?

Favre is # 1 in completetions.

No the NFC doesnt have anyone at the level of the Patriots....neither does the AFC.

The Colts are not to shabby. Last time I checked they have not lost a game. I will be really interested to see how they match up against the Patroits.

You just got to remember to extend the end time to allow for overtime/slow games. I've forgotten to many times, but I still never learn my lesson (as recently as the Pitt/Navy [NCAA] OT game on Wednesday).

Mortgage your house this is the lock of the week.

NE themselves will be up by 21 with 3 minutes left in the First Quarter. NE will have 52 points or more by the end of the game. We don't even have to rely on Miami getting any points

Agreed - its also in Indianapolis.

We finally get to see a real matchup of Quaterbacks Brady vs Manning to shut all the Manning supporters up once and for all.

Defences are similar, recieving corps are similar, Indi has better running. This is a game you plan a week around.

PS, Damn damn damn you Cardinals for losing. What happens on the day I have 4 5$ tickets and correctly call the GB WSH tie, KC win, and TB, Tenn Tie - the "lock" Arizona loses.

Hopefully the G men win tonight and that will save my GB WSH tie ticket and net me $78.46

I'd be a little more cautious than this. The Fins, even when they suck, always seem to play the Pats well.
