Man this game is a good reminder about why olympic hockey with NHL players is so great. Such a good game, on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Canadian fans tend to overreact to losses. And certainly there have been editions of Team Canada with baffling decisions roster wise. I don't see that being the case here. Hockey is a game with randomness and the Czechs have a lot of talent. Canada has been the better team, but hockey is random. So now it's basically sudden death where a bad bounce could end it. Doesn't mean that this wasn't a good roster. People are already preparing to point fingers. Sometimes you just lose.
Plus isn't this more fun than an 8-1 blowout?
There are never memorable moments in blowouts. There's gonna be one here either way.

Still should be playing like they're down one (other than pulling the goalie obviously) because overtime is still an advantage to them. Need to really press hard and not play this like it's an NHL game, there is no OT point on offer here.

I like the Czechians, you have to respect them, they always play tough. Make you earn it.
You come out of those game against them battle hardened if you get by them.
