Not a good game by the Hitmen. Passes were off, missed the net, not overly physical, Hauser looked shaky, and the Canes played a good road game.

I watched the Victory+ stream last night and the Saddledome looked eerily empty. Hopefully a much better crowd for game 2 on Saturday.

Canes took control of that game from the start. Was a great road W for them and it was sad for there to only be 2400 in attendance. It really showed on the stream and just gave the building no energy.

I'm expecting a different Hitmen come Saturday who should be able to feed off the home crowd. Hopefully Braillard is back for the Canes and Doyle, but overall was a great W.

Switzer starts in net for the Tigers tonight, Meneghin was away all week for his dads funeral.

For PA, Mrsic is out with a concussion still and Dube is questionable.

Also.....Cayden Lindstrom is in town. Sounds like he is going to start skating with the team and if all goes well he could be back if the Tigers advance to round 3. This is also true with Basha. If they get to round 3 and add those two the Tigers will be really tough to beat. I mean they are tough to beat already, never mind if they add two players like that.

Many of you try out the Victory+ app? I decided to give it a try today. Glitchy. My internet is solid right now, only one kid home so nobody is using bandwidth but it keeps hanging. The sign up process also did not go smooth.

Been using it all playoffs and it's been great. It just went down at the start of the Tigers game though and I'm not very ####ing about it to be honest.

Yeah, the Tigers are stomping a mud hole.

Hurricanes win 2-1 and take both games in Calgary. Canes are usually much stronger at home than on the road. Going to be a tough uphill climb for the Hitmen now.

Tigers hold on for a 6-4 win to take the opening game of the series. Great experience for Jordan Switzer between the pipes, but if Harry is ready to go, I think Willie D taps him for the game 2 start.

2 perfect road games for the Canes. And I would say the Hitmen haven't played their best but they better figure it out in a hurry. Hauser is out with an UBI and Howe left the game last night.

Lindstrom apparently on the ice today skating with the scratches.

If Columbus gave him the OK to come and skate you now he's healthy.

Crazy, Id given up hope ever seeing him in a Tigers jersey again.

I think it's going to happen now.

I'm very surprised with the Hurricanes and Hitmen series. I kinda thought that the Hitmen would win. I'm not surprised that Lethbridge stole a game but I'm surprised they stole two.

I'm even more surprised at the attendance at the Dome. Everyone from Lethbridge is saying there was more Canes fans than Hitmen fans.

Yeah that attendance is beyond pathetic. It's crazy they can't draw more than that on a Saturday night for round 2 of the playoffs. They're probably going to sell out in lethbridge and the crowd will be very lively too as it always is there.
