Wikipedia tells me...

Quote:
The club changed its name in 1948, due to an older club from Trøndelag having the same name, and has since gone by the name Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt. The slash was originally a hyphen, but was gradually changed in the 1980s to avoid confusion as hyphens were often used to separate teams on betting coupons and in result tables in newspapers.
...so degenerate gamblers pretty much lol.

Neither can Spurs. Hideous twins final it is, although I reiterate my desire for it to be an automatic relegation match too.

Haha, this could be the final that neither team can afford to lose, but also that neither team can win. If one of these teams doesn't blow it first, it would go to penalties., obviously.

I betcha it'd actually be a good final. Two poor teams who are fairly evenly matched, lots of errors, lots of poor coaching, would be fun I bet.

What woulda been better is if Bayern again went trophyless, and Spurs win the Europa.

Then we continue to laugh at Kane.

But we mostly like Kane, he's basically my favorite kind of athlete who just balls out and stays lowkey otherwise. Not being able to use the "Spurs trophy cabinet" memes with a picture of an empty cabinet would be sad panda really.

I don't hate Kane either. But it's amusing a player of his caliber is trophyless. Well, until this season that is.

I love Kane, but I'm also a fan of comedy, and it would be funny if he had no trophy somehow and Spurs did.

I mean we'll probably get some half comedy with him finally winning a trophy tomorrow in street clothes. Or maybe we get elite comedy with his suspension being the start of a collapse that would even make Spurs blush.

We ended up getting....quarter comedy? Like Bayern being 10 seconds away from winning the title and then conceding is hilarious, but they effectively won the title with the draw since they are 9 clear, Leverkusen can only get 9 points, and Bayern have a +30 edge in goal differential.

Kane has broken the curse.

Quote:
Bayern Munich have won their 33rd Bundesliga title and in doing so Harry Kane's long wait for the first major trophy of his senior career has come to an end.

Kane, 31, could have earned his first winners' medal on Saturday had Bayern won at RB Leipzig in the striker's absence -- he watched on from the stands as he served a suspension for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season the week before -- but a 94th-minute equaliser from Leipzig's Yussuf Poulsen kept the champagne on ice.

Bayern's title win was eventually confirmed on Sunday when second-placed Bayer Leverkusen fell to a 2-2 draw at Freiburg, meaning they could no longer mathematically better Bayern's total with two matches remaining.

We should cancel the rest of the Champions League and let Inter and Barcelona play again tomorrow as well as in the final. Incredible

Really Inter should be down, Sommer with an amazing save/Garcia with a horrible miss between the two goals. Inter hanging on by a thread right now.

Well that was certainly inevitable. Raphinha Ballon D'Or frontrunner, what a world.
