I think he means that clearly the Flames should just forfeit because ... ... ... McDavid.
For the oilers to win this series, I think that penalties and Smith are the two important parts - but who knows as this is the playoffs.
If this series is played mostly at 5 on 5 and the Flames avoid penalty trouble, then I think the oilers are in tough as Smith will need to be the same or better than he was last series (and he had some down games last series). If the refs get involved again and we see an uptick in penalties again or the Flames get focused on extra curriculars, then it could be a close series.

In Calgary ... when is it a run?
You have to make the conference finals I would think, right?

I find it hilarious how upset some Oiler fans are that Gretzky picked the Flames. The guy is a grizzled gambler. He went with the logical choice lol. He's not going to let emotions get in the way of rational logic.

Get to round 2 - Amazing, we won a round.
Get to round 3 - Phenomenal, we went on a run.
Get to round 4 - A deep run, one of the best seasons as a franchise.
Oilers:
