I specifically said "Zionists stealing land and murdering people." Not "Zionists struggling for the peaceful existence of Israel." You could sub in, say, Americans for Zionists and it would not be any different. Not all Americans are stealing oil and blowing up the Middle East, but the news headlines say that.
Saying "Jew" would have been an unjust generalization as well. And it was in response to "deep bias against zionists or jews in general for example". I said it because I think assuming bias because people are critical of unjust actions isn't really bias. It's just recognizing the people doing it are free to be criticized in such a way. Essentially being critical is not bias by default. And that's not to say all criticism of Zionists is not bias.
And again, like, if you want to see ugly #### said about Zionists, go hang out on Xitter for 5 minutes. It's not even close.
Yes I agree, X is a complete antisemitic and Zionist hate filled cesspool. But apparently I just found that BlueSky users uses the feed function you showed for people to keep track of anyone they brand as zionists so they can be blocked. That's messed up. BlueSky really isn't a beacon of morality there, there's just not enough people to make as much #### as X.
Also I get you, being critical of zionism, and being anti-zionism is not in itself anti-semitism or a sign of bias.
Maybe spending time on BlueSky and X with a search of Tel Aviv and seeing the vile comments using Zionist as a clear derogatory replacement for Jews - got me a little jaded and Over reactionary on your own wording immediately after, and apologize for coming on it stronger than necessary.
Oh, and that video Firebot was talking about? I assume it's this one:
Just saw this post, no it was a different video purported to be inside the airport collapsing with "Zionists" dying (propagated by accounts on both BlueSky and X). Honestly there are about 5 different ones being reposted.

Thanks for that, appreciate it.

Well, I’m glad we learned that some people on social media can be bad and to evaluate your sources. I think this is a real beautiful moment for us. And Fuzz even got a deserved apology. Or successfully fooled someone into believing his wasn’t a proto-Nazi hate monger. What IS buried in his yard? We’ll never know.

Clay, man. I've told you. Clay is buried in my yard.
I'm glad the only social media I use is CalgaryPuck and Youtube.
When you have a character limit on what you can say, it's always going to lead to posting nothing but extreme headlines for morons.
Again, a huge contributing factor to why Twitter never caught on with me. Curation isn't the problem, I've curated the hell out of my Instagram so I see dogs, cats, and cars and that's basically it. Facebook, I've got my various brand/model-specific owner / DIY car groups and nothing else, thanks to unfollowing virtually everyone and blocking anything that upsets my zen. But long-form discussion and being able to have a coherent thread to follow is useful.
It's just the suckiest format and platform. Scream your 280 characters into the digital sky and wait for a response. It's like the crackheads in the Beltline yelling at a person who isn't there but for internet folk. There we go, that's what it is: internet crackheads.
I've found I mostly use Bluesky in the same way I use RSS feeds. Most of the stuff I follow is people quoting or discussing an article, and then I'll follow that link. RSS feeds alone aren't as good becasue you end only seeing what you follow. I find I get more exposure to different sources, and becasue they are shared by people with similar interests or are trustworthy enough, they kinda curate the feed for me. If I added all those sources to my rss reader I'd have way too much, so this way I get more stuff of interest from my non-regular places. The limited post length is actually a benefit in this regard.

I remember using it for (back when I gave more of a crap about) the NHL trade deadline and the opening day of NHL free agency. But in the end, it was easier just to hit F5 (or Fn-F5 ) on the TSN Trade Tracker / Free Agency Tracker webpage instead. It's just that any time there is something I want to know about or get updates on, I can pretty much always find something better suited and more effective to getting that information on that thing at a cadence that makes it more than sufficient for what I need.
What's worse nowadays, even compared to a few months ago, is how easily you can do a seemingly legitimate looking deepfake replication using a few tools on some newer video models (I don't consider the CNN depicted ones at top level). I can replicate some extremely real deepfakes using an image of a real place, images of weaponry used, even video or audio.
This is also why folks need to be extremely vigilant in presenting info from dubious social media sources, even if they may pass the eye test. It's no longer possible to easily determine an AI video from real.

I actually came back to Calgary Puck, because I wasn't liking how the other platforms were behaving. I was nostalgic for the old days, so I came back here.
