I would like to know as well.

Normally a company of their size would sue them into the ground.

But the Flames are doing exactly as I would expect, and not suing but instead realizing that they are a multibillion dollar organization that absurdly got duped by some small company and convinced/forced their clients to hand over personal data to a clown show, so they are now just doing anything in their power to let the story die.

Every public response suggests as much. If they didn't walk through the vaccine passport process with such gross negligence there'd already be a lawsuit in place.

And I guarantee you they're watching CP everyday waiting for this to fall off the first page (as they know this is the second biggest Flames fan gathering). Seriously...

..and unfortunately it will happen soon enough.

No, they’re not.

And no a company their size would not “sue them into the ground”.
They would make a cost-benefit analysis of the current losses, potential award, ability to collect, and associated costs to sue, and would make a business decision based on that.

Also if you have an iPhone, you can now add your QR code to the wallet. It’s very slick.

Unfortunately for fans, in this case the cost-benefit analysis tells them they should STFU and hope it blows over.

I'll forgive them if they get Jack

Yep, the business decision here is don't take a few grand from a small time guy in a decision that comprises all of their fans security...Just wait for it to blow over and hope people stop talking about how absurdly ridiculous and potentially (and still is) damaging this was.

Will they accept my printed out passport (non QR code one). I haven't done that yet and I'm not quite sure how to do it.

Not sure about CSEC policy but the AB government policy is that only the one with the QR code is valid now so you should print that out or have it on your phone. You can do it the same way you would have printed the old one.

Which is how it should have been done in the first place. The old one was an editable PDF, for crying out loud. You could create a fake one in two minutes flat, print it out, and it would be indistinguishable from a real one.

That is only good until Nov 15.

Here is the link, just click get started. All you need is the month you got one of your doses and you AB health number. Literally takes 30 seconds.

Did anyone else’s QR image come out really small in their wallet? Mine did (but it still works).

Weird. I didn’t even think of it until I downloaded and the app asked me if I wanted to add it.

Semi-related: it looks like the average attendance for the first two regular season home games has been 15,247, which isn't bad but certainly well short of a sellout. That includes the home opener (which unfortunately was on a Monday night), and Saturday night's game (which was the "Halloween" game).

Looking at Tuesday's game against the Preds, there are a lot of tickets available... my guess is that between Covid and not letting in the unvaxxed masses, attendance should remain in the 15k range (depending on whether the Flames continue to play well).

Across, the league, the Flames are currently 20th in average attendance at home. Interestingly, Edmonton is just above them in 19th with an average of 15,547: https://www.espn.com/nhl/attendance

I had previously added it to the Health app on my iPhone. I had to delete it from Health and get it again from the website before it would let me add it to Wallet.

Oh, and you also have to be on iOS 15.1 for it to work.

I would think that ongoing economic uncertainty and financial constraints are probably bigger factors than vaccine requirements. I know a lot of people who are still recovering from layoffs and other salary adjustments resulting in them not spending needlessly on social activities or entertainment.

Attendance is down league wide. Pretty consistently. Few if any teams increase over last attended season.

I’d guess it’s more to do with vaccinated people hesitant going to a busy place than anti vaxxers who can’t go but obviously is a bit of both.
