I agree it was a penalty but it just caught Kucherov in a bad spot....nothing malicious about it.

All the ones whose sole purpose is to hurt the other guy are, yeah. He just smashed the guy in the ribs. The only reason for it is to hurt him. He may not have been trying to injure him there but I doubt he cares that he did.
I recognize that the league does nothing about it and it happens all the time, but they should and it shouldn't.

I don't know why people call Isles hockey boring, I love games like this. It doesn't have to have 10 goals to be entertaining.

Yup, it's the end result that matters. I enjoyed the Devils cup runs as much as any other cup run. Whatever works to win it all, do it.

Yeah it’s pretty much the epitome of the NHL playoffs that the guy who injured the other teams best player with a cross check right in front of the ref that went uncalled, is also the guy who ties up the game in the third.
On the positive side of things if Kucherov is hurt again then I think that would mean the lightning are cap compliant again.
