You knew the Leafs would come out hard tonight and the Flames just don't have it tonight. Not playing terrible but a level below the Leafs who simply want this game more.

Like if I'm Tanev, how do I not be pissed at Bennett for not getting that puck out and forcing me to have to block that shot?
It's possible I wouldn't be liked on teams, because I'd calling that stuff out all game long. I'd also expect people to call me out too, but that's just the way I work. Good teams should challenge each other to be better instead of just accepting each other's mistakes.

The effort is definitely there, our PK has been outstanding, and overall they've been pretty solid defensively.
Unfortunately the Flames just don't have the firepower to compete with such a stacked and deep Leafs team. Not to mention our PP is beyond dreadful and is clearly costing us points in the standings. If they ever can get that part of their game figured out, I think they'll be ok. But right now the offence just isn't there and it's killing us.
