Haven't seen this posted on any of their social media accounts, but Calgary Foothills will be playing Whitecaps U-23 at Hellard Field on July 10. Kickoff is at 12. Haven't seen what the deal is with tickets just yet but Jay Wheeldon DM'd me to spread the word...

Onesoccer does not have the virtual stadium ads during the Valour vs HFX match and it looks so much better. However that is offset by both teams wearing white. Who decided that would be an ok viewing experience?

Wanderers were unlucky. I thought they were the better team overall.
However, being tough to play against and grinding out results is generally a sign of a good team.
I think getting off to a strong start is vital for teams like Valour. It builds so much confidence.

Akio was a hell of a finisher with Calgary Foothills so I've always rated him. HFX were robbed of a goal from Marshall.
I've always found Rob Gale to be a bit of a snake oil salesman. Always pumping his team and never delivering. However Valour do look very good after 2 games though, especially defensively. They've defeated both finalists from last year 2-0.

Either way, that Atletico keeper is awful. 1st goal he turns it over, 2nd is hit right at him and he misses, and terrible kicks all night.

Looks pretty obvious that #17 is playing him onside by a couple yards. Someone needs to help the play by play guy out. Hopefully we get another replay over halftime
Really like Selemani tonight! Brace aside his linkup play has been solid with Camargo and he’s yet to stop running. Forced so many throws and turnovers through his hustle
Really would like Escalante and Farsi to do something down the right. Anything really. I’d be looking to make a change there. Too many turnovers and sloppy passes in the midfield too, but it is early days of the season.
Hopefully Klomp puts that one out of his head and has a solid second half. Really like Yao and Field!

Good performance by the Cavs and they took care of business. The ads are super irritating, but I guess that’s kind of to be expected.
