It seems like we either have players with either talent and low give a crap meters or guys who give a crap but lack talent
Gio, Tkachuk and Lindholm aside
And Andersson
Tkachuk played with an edge when he first got here. Instead of harnessing that edge and fine tuning it, they just dulled it. He should be a smash mouth player, he has all the tools. We just have too many calm, whistle to whistle without emotion players. Gaudreau, Monahan, Backlund, Brodie, Hamonic, Hanifin.

I’d put Andersson, Lindholm and Bennett as the only ones who can properly “play with emotion”.

Others may show some, but it’s only ever when the game is already out of reach and they act upset and can’t bring it into their on-ice games.

I want Bennett to play to this level from puck drop, in every game. Let's hope this is a start of a trend for the kid and not just another flash in the pan, as has been the case his entire frigin career.

What about the rest of the team, we got a whole team full of guys not playing with any jam or emotion from the first period.

Can’t believe there are comments in here about bad coaching. Coaching is the very least of this teams problems. What coach could possibly turn this team into a winner?

This is where the Flames really miss guys like Engelland, Ferland, Versteeg, 2014-15 Bouma, Hathaway, even Stajan.

But hey cool a goal!

Absolutely. I'm speaking strictly from a fan exhausted waiting for Bennett to figure out his name place in the NHL.

Oilers now only leading 6-4... it was 6-0.

It's a debate between Lindholm and tkatchuk. Tkatchuk disappears more than Lindholm though.

Ugh, the early pull.
