Well it is a style that does not allow him to get up square to the shooter if there are secondary shots or rebounds.

He just shouldn’t be the one to carry the puck into the zone.

I think Bennett should be he primary carrier for PP2. As we saw on Ryan’s goal, it was Bennett who penetrated the zone and made a smart play.

Backlund gains the blue line decently enough, but his first pass after gaining the zone is quite awful.
