How can anyone watch this team and not see the fundamental problems with the horse#### system in use, and think for a second the coaching staff is not the problem?
If the players are the problem, why the heck is the coach not making any personnel changes??? Riddle me that.

Oh man...I'm riding the only positive part of the season right now haha, which is that Gillies has been good. He's showing everything we want to see from a young goalie.
Poor kid is getting savaged by his own team tonight.

Why didn't you get back Hamilton after you clumsily stepped on the puck? Instead you took your time getting up and took the long way back, and it's a 2 on 1 the other way.
If there's any player that epitomizes the hopelessness of the team when things are bad, it's Hamilton. That third goal he wa in the total wrong position when he knows his guys was changing and then that lazy effort.

Isn't getting back to defend and making line changes quickly just routine stuff?
All they had to do was commit to routine defensive assignments and they'd be right in it.

why is Tanner Glass playing if he isn't trying to fight and turn the tide when the game is getting away from them?
What purpose does Glass serve?
What the hell is wrong with Gulutzan?
To all the Flames players and coaches:

|
Rittich is bad? Put in any goalie in the league and with the defensive effort this team has at the moment, hes gonna turn in to sieve instantly. Look at TJ before the second goal tonight and you dont have to look any further. Smith was insane this season and that the only reason we came into last quarter as team contending for playoff spot.

Friedman thinks it will be on ice change in the off season, not coaching..

Or, coaches have a round hole they want the players to play in but all they have is a bunch of square pegs.

A time out would have been good as well. After that goal the team needs a chance to refocus and get composed. Whether that be a time out or a goalie change something needs to be done. Gulutzan has a terrible time reading his players emotion and setting them up for success. He might be a smart guy and great with stats but he is a terrible leader from what I can see.

He's made the personnel changes that seemed to spark this latest stretch of utter failure.
Flames win 2 straight.
Let's scratch players and put Stewart and Glass in!

Honestly, I think it’s a combination of both. The entire organization should be under review starting with our GM. It is not just the coaching staff.

So disappointing to see the Flames control the play and then melt into puddles of water at the first sign of trouble. I am not sure they have any mental capability to fight back or succeed.

So when does the play warrant a jersey to get thrown on the ice?
